Simplicity is what I like best in studio portraits. I want your personality to shine through. I want to see YOU, not a fancy background with lots of props.
Being yourself in a portrait is often hard for many people, but is the key to a great photograph.
My clients tell me that I made them feel relaxed in front of the camera, that I have a knack for putting people at ease. "That was easy" is something I hear all the time.
I use poses that fit you and your personality. I want to show you at your best, not trying to be something you are not. I will not have you stand like a fashion model if that is not how you stand.
I explain to you what the pose is and ask if you are comfortable. I want you to understand why we are doing the pose and be comfortable with it. If not, we change it.
I want YOU to be YOU!
Pets are part of the family so make sure you include them in your family portrait.
It takes a bit more patience and time, but I have a few tricks that lets 'Fido' be at his best as well.
So with just a few simple props, backgrounds that are backgrounds, careful pose selection and a no stress environment, I am able to create meaningful portraits of YOU and your family.
